1. Who is responsible

2. What this site collects
When you open a page, our server records the usual access data in a log file: IP address, date and time, the file requested, browser and operating system. This serves the secure operation of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and is deleted after a short period. Nothing else is collected. There is no contact form and no newsletter sign-up on this site.
3. Cookies
One cookie is set, and only to remember which language you chose. It is technically necessary and needs no consent. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics and no tracking of any kind.
4. No third parties on load
Fonts are served from our own server. Opening a page contacts no other company, not Google, not a content network, nobody. Where we embed media such as a YouTube track, nothing loads until you click play. Only then does data, including your IP address, reach the provider (for YouTube: Google Ireland Limited), on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
5. Links to Amazon
Book and product links lead to Amazon. Once you follow such a link, Amazon’s own privacy policy applies, not ours.
6. Your rights
You may request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and you may object to processing (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). Consent can be withdrawn at any time. We answer within one month. You may also complain to a supervisory authority; ours is the Data Protection Commissioner of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
